SPC did say in the outlook where they upgraded to MDT that they expected the LLJ to kick in around 0z, so basically right on cue

The storm has been riding along and crossing the boundary for the last hour or so. The storm has turned more right and likely latched onto the boundary. For now at least.

I’m not convinced that Oklahoma cell can stay isolated but if it does the Northern side of the OKC metro could be in trouble.
