Really hoping a more in-depth study is done on this event; if one isn’t I’ll do an amateur one myself. Incredibly unique circumstances that led to it.

I think it’s possible, but I wouldn’t be surprised if 165 is the maximum intensity from the survey. Could go either way.

Kds86z, I appreciate your responses here, but you’ve posted quite a few Twitter links to this thread over the past day or two. I’m not a mod, nor do I speak for everybody, but I think quite a few folks came here to escape the buzz of Twitter, and have stimulating conversation around the meteorology of these systems.

I’m not trying to throw shade, but I think it would help the threads remain mostly conversational if there were fewer twitter links! But again, what do I know, I’m largely a lurker.

Where are you in PA? In the Susquehanna valley, it's thick stratus city and I haven't been able to tell what time it is for 3 days

I don’t disagree here and I appreciate the tone you took. Really not trying to come across as harsh, but If I wanted hot takes, or to see what chaser xyz thinks or WxTwitter info, I would just go look at twitter. I appreciate the nuanced, analytical, and thoughtful posts here, it’s why I come to this place. I think sometimes the large amount of Twitter posts in between user posts break the conversation chain. During last year’s 3/14 outbreak, Matt Grantham brought up something similar, the thoughtful posts just kept getting buried. It does sometimes avalanche when everyone is posting.

I will say, talk weather does have an ignore function built in, but your point does stand and is a worthy conversation point.

Ignore me if ya need @ColdFront :) I agree constant Twitter posts can disrupt conversation about storms/tornadoes.

I am just a bit zealous in tornado season and I know some people don’t have an X account so if they need to know info I am doing it for any of those. If there was a tornado outbreak I would not be posting every single tornado warning because that would clog thread.

I do admittedly agree and as good as it is seeing those sometimes insightful posts. The place is a absolute cesshole. It isn't bad to be posting the tor warnings, but anything about what a certain chaser thinks we can do that ourselves. I don't want to come across harsh to @Kds86z and I don't like to be harsh but these posts do clog some of the more in depth/insightful posts made. It's nothing bad to post if a tornado warning has been issued but the chaser opinions should probably keep out of it. There's a reason I migrated to this platform mostly for weather talk because a lot of the community have no patience/sense for events and scream FCAD anytime a event underperforms.
