I simply cannot get over the fact that this happened in Michigan, on a 2% (not even CIG1) tornado risk, nearly 1000 miles removed from what was supposed to be the main event (Distance from Union City to OKC is about 942 miles). Simply Incredible.
(BTW you can upload images again, atleast for me.)

Yeah I instantly took that comment back after some of the reports that came out.Unfortunately it doesn’t sound like all the Oklahoma tornadoes today were weak. Seeing what looks like significant damage to an RV park near Collinsville.
OK.SPC with a new watch that has 70/60 probs... they seem to think there's even more left in the tank for these storms in eastern OK. Hopefully nothing significant happens overnight.

Rather impressive early March tornado outbreak honestly. I honestly think we could reasonably see an EF-4 rating out of Union City.Tracks from the tornadoes last night in OK have been added to DAT; the leftmost one is the fatal tornado near Fairview. Probably had an additional 4-5 sigtors out of tonight, so I expect the count from the outbreak to rise.

I hate to get into the whole rating mess before an event is even over, but I agree. Really depends on construction as always. Union City, Bristow, Beggs, and Oolgah are the ones I'd watch rating-wise.Rather impressive early March tornado outbreak honestly. I honestly think we could reasonably see an EF-4 rating out of Union City.
Yeah, makes sense.I hate to get into the whole rating mess before an event is even over, but I agree. Really depends on construction as always.
Might need to make a separate thread for the 10th (and possibly 9th). Latest run of the GFS has some very interesting trough geometry
