Severe Weather 3/4 - 3/8

Not liking the trajectory of the Chickasa, OK cell. If it develops, it's going to get uncomfortably close to the OKC metro.
Uh oh, that one's might be heading right into Moore.

I’m thinking of the one that promoted a tornado emergency in April or May 2024; I can’t for the life of me remember which town it hit near.

Anyways, enough of the past and back to the now.

Portage, MI (just south of Kalamazoo), May 7, 2024 (day after the Oklahoma high risk/Barnsdall). Rated EF2. TORE actually included Union City that day.

Here's all your kinematics. There is absolutely nothing holding these storms in Oklahoma back. The only thing that might even remotely be lacking is Effective sheer, which is somewhere between 35-40 (and that's still plenty). Things are very likely about to escalate extremely quickly. Those storms in Kansas will be even more intense once they mature a bit.
