Severe Weather 2025

I was really surprised they didn't go bigger with that 5% risk today, but I can understand why they didn't. The models haven't inspired any confidence the last few days, and I'm not sure any of them showed what's currently happening. That temperature gradient is just so sharp, and moving relatively forcefully and quick. You kinda gotta assume when 80 degree temps collide with 55-60 degree temps with such force bad things are going to happen, and cyclones are the most efficient way for warm air to escape upward. Warm air will naturally collect and pour through them when they form, even if there isn't a strong cap forcing them to that area.
