Really have to wonder if we may have a quiet May on tap, and it’s one of those seasons where all the action was lined up at the beginning of spring, similar to 2012. One of Trey’s analog years for 2025 was 2006, it featured a very impressive Dixie outbreak, but a very quiet plains season.

Kempner, TX storm looking interesting on radar and per spotter reports. Pretty annoying that I'm stuck at university, because this would have been a local chase for me, with a target that's been obvious since the morning.

EDIT: Looks like FWD and EWX just issued tornado warnings for it as well.
