Severe Weather 2025

May 2003 was completely anomalous. What a pattern that was. I will say though, I don’t think ArkLaMiss/TN/Western KY will be done at the end of April. But I would agree with @UncleJuJu98 on Bama, I just haven’t seen anything long range pointing at any kind of tornado outbreak or significant severe weather through the end of April for them
I’d be interested in knowing more about why early May 2003 was so anomalous especially over such a big swath of the CONUS.

I was in third grade at the time in Alabama and the most I remember from that period was a big flash flooding event that occurred. One of my classmates thought that when we were leaving the playground to go inside because of a tornado warning, he thought they had kept us in school for so long that it was nighttime because of how dark it looked outside.
