Next weekend looking active across the Plains on basically all of the 12z guidance.
Any states in particular?Next weekend looking active across the Plains on basically all of the 12z guidance.
Southern and Central Plains as it sits now, potentially NM/CO as well early on.Any states in particular?
Wouldn't be surprised to see a few straggler events over the Southeast during the first weeks of May, that seems to be a recurring thing the last several years. And I'm sure we'll see some sort of threat evolve next week into first week of May across the Mid-South as well. Too active for there not to be at least a few severe threats evolve. Besides we're in peak timeframe for heighten severe weather/tornado potential across the Gulf States still.

According to AFD from MEG, we could get in on some MCS type complexes next week too.Looking at taking PTO for the Monday-Wednesday after this coming week. Signal for the preceding weekend (or at least Sunday 4/27) on through at least some of those days has been there for a while and is getting stronger with time.
00Z, 06Z and 12Z GFS all have a nice looking potential three-day event the 27th through the 29th.
The goat has posted.
I need something here in Illinois or Indiana (Iowa if its High risk). This weekend into early next week is setting up to be potentially very fruitful for chasers who can make it out here to the High Plains and central/southern Plains. Potentially multiple days of interest as a large trough amplifies into the west and shortwaves eject each day on top of a fairly large and seasonably moist warm sector.
