It's supposed to be pretty quiet until the end of the month. We have a pretty intense front coming through later this month.I wonder if Tornado Alley will see a flare up at all. I remember October 2021 got pretty crazy at times in the Southern Plains, like in western Oklahoma.

Legit supercells associated with the leading bands of Milton visible from Key West radar.
I've never seen this verbiage in a SMW before:
Explicitly indicating that these are supercell tornadoes over water.
Sharknado might actually come to life.I hope someone some day documents a EF5 wedge tornado in the ocean. I often wonder what the wave action would be like and how many fish would fall out of the sky.

Reminds me of Chickasha 2011. I wouldn’t be surprised to have more than one violent tornado out of this outbreak. Not sure whether to post here or in the tropical thread, but Milton is one of the most prolific tornado-producing hurricane landfalls in recent history, especially for peninsular Florida. Check out this hook echo that just passed by the West Palm Beach TDWR; PDS warning for confirmed "large and extremely dangerous" with this:

Would not be surprised…Is the fall/winter tornado season about to kick in to gear? Hearing rumblings of a pattern change.
I'm ready for the skinny cape profiles and bonkers shear that usually occurs in the 2nd tornado season, gotta love some spin ups.Would not be surprised…
“Tornado season” in Dixie runs from November to April lol
Be careful.I'm ready for the skinny cape profiles and bonkers shear that usually occurs in the 2nd tornado season, gotta love some spin ups.
Not quite just seeing that yet , patience is a virtue….Is the fall/winter tornado season about to kick in to gear? Hearing rumblings of a pattern change.
