That miss on the tornado warning by LBF was absolutely unacceptable.

I’ve noticed a general theme in that NWS offices located in more rural parts of the country tend to be a lot more lax in performing their duties.
Obviously a lack of resources problem, but there’s no explanation for this except laziness.
Not surprised. They make the DDC office look spectacular by comparison

Assuming no breaks in the path, doing a rough measurement on Google Earth brings up an approximate path length of 40 miles. What a tornado!

The majority of that -SRH was negated by the south, south east storm motion.
And it was this storm motion that greatly enhanced streamwiseness into the cell.
That would explain the supercell’s ability to sustain a relatively long lived tornado, and even cycle up another one.

In other 'international tornado' news, a couple days ago this little guy touched down very near to Mexico's famous Paricutín volcano. I'll leave it to TalkWeather to describe it...
That's one cool looking tornado. It looks like it makes out some letters... I think it says "Video Unavailable"? I'm not too sure tbh.

Looks fine for me. Maybe the post is blocked in Canada for some reason? That happens sometimes.
