There is conditional potential later this afternoon for one of those isolated monster Nebraska supercells/tornadoes (e.g. Columbus, Stratton, Coleridge) near the warm front, albeit 700 mb temperatures are quite warm and may be inhibitive of robust CI.

I think this was expected to Forecasted Convective Amplification Deficiency, just had a really high ceiling.

Just checking in … far as I’m concerned most part severe is over until later fall for traditional mid south and Dixie land … with a La Niña building to go along with a negative PDO ,things could become very interesting later this year into early next spring .
