Given the Jackson CWA's relative lack of violent tornadoes over its recorded history, I'd imagine that perhaps the only realistic way that the staff at that office could've gotten experience dealing with such events would've been to have worked at other offices whose CWAs were more prone to violent tornadoes for some time before being transferred to the Jackson office.

Wow! I'd love to see more images around this property to see the surrounding context better. What a shockingly violent tornado.

Another high-end EF4 that caused no fatalities just like the Diaz, AR high-end EF4 tornado on March 14th. Also both tornadoes had relatively shorter paths than most EF4 tornadoes. The Diaz, AR tornado was on the ground for 18.62 miles and the Marion, IL tornado was on the ground for 16.57 miles.

Third ever 190mph prelim rating, funny enough the second of this year. Doubt this has a shot for EF5 but that's pretty incredible.

St. Louis damage path has been added to DAT, I still can't believe that the storm decide to drop it over downtown. Tracked over (densely) populated areas for the vast majority of its track.
