London upgraded to EF4 with really weird wording behind it. Ssradarloop has insider sources apparently.
Unofficial reports via media that the damage in London, KY has been rated EF4. Obviously it would be best to await official confirmation, but I do strongly suspect an EF4 rating is on its way. (I assume this has come through NWS Chat)
Yep, it had been at least 50 years since a storm like that was in that area of Kentucky. KY got absolutely hammered on 4/3/74, and Wayne County, which is south of Somerset, had two F4s on the ground at the same time that day.
When Is last time we had an outbreak in IL/IN/MO/KY with multiple ef4s and ef3s?
March 2 2012 was quite similarly placed. 2 EF4s and 8 EF3s.When Is last time we had an outbreak in IL/IN/MO/KY with multiple ef4s and ef3s?
What are you referring to?Nope I’m wrong, I can’t do this no more. *throws phone*
Yeah this did feature the two EF4s including the Henryville EF4 and a handful of EF3s.March 2 2012 was quite similarly placed.
Just a little humor, but this outbreak definitely did have a lot similarities to April 2-3 2012 outbreak. Minus the High Risk that was in place but had we known what was truly in store they may would been able to introduce a High Risk.Huh? Do what @Brice W
It technically already has been but they’re probably trying to determine a final wind speed. So is it safe to say that the London tornado will be eventually upgraded to an EF4?
