Morganfield tornado also an EF3 155mph it seems
Definitely seems like an April 2 repeat in terms of ratings. Several high-end EF3s.Morganfield tornado also an EF3 155mph it seems
This scale is a joke
We had an EF2 hit nearby in 2011 (not during the superoutbreak). Tornadoes are a bit uncommon here, but not unheard of, and yet I remember seeing plenty of stuff marking the 14th anniversary this year. Nobody died but a whole bunch of people were missing part or all of their roofs among other things. You don't need EF-4's to have a bad day. Even just EF-1s and -2s can ruin your day.
Yea, I'm interested in seeing the width of that Somerset tornado. As I said, just get used to what is now the unbreakable 165 ceiling, and the ratings process is a lot less irritating lol
Am more interested in seeing path lengths at this point, wondering how many families we had since it really feels like some of these cycled decently quickly? The southern KY one was probably a very long tracker though
There’s nothing even controversial here though. Subfloor. High-end EF3 for a house becoming detached from its subfloor could even be considered a bit liberal for a rating. Come on guys we know better…As I said, just get used to what is now the unbreakable 165 ceiling, and the ratings process is a lot less irritating lol

I see what your saying but I do not see any basement on this house that was almost completely slabbed. Maybe I am overlooking it.View attachment 42154View attachment 42155
re: Marion
This was one of the bad DIs from the drone footage I was able to match up with a before photo
Again, it’s not a slab. How do you not see this?I see what you’re saying but I do not see any basement on this house that was almost completely slabbed. Maybe I am overlooking it.
Sorry to be dumb but what’s CMU..Big ol broad house too, probably a lot of wind pressure above that CMU helping to shove it over
Concrete Masonry Unit. Also known as a block foundation.Sorry to be dumb but what’s CMU..
Thanks, I kept seeing it but honestly didn’t know.Concrete Masonry Unit.
Uhm…yeaSeeing as it's been an hour with no corroborating report or NWS report I'm gonna go ahead and ignore the Max Velocity ef3 report
