The storm system on March 14 and 15 had 43 fatalities as a whole, but 12/10/21 was definitely the deadliest outbreak prior to this.

Yes but I mean ONLY tornadic. That was 21-22. If tornado outbreak killed 30 plus its been years.

I think 2021 was pretty high up too, mainly with the Mayfield outbreak.

Attached garages (especially two car) are now seen as a failure point and used to downgrade wind speeds. Which makes logical sense, but is also extremely silly because 90% of houses have attached garages.

Edit: it wasn't facing into the wind, so it may not be downgraded as much, but it really depends on the surveyor.

I will say, looking closer at these posts, this is definitely one of the stronger EF5 candidates we've had in quite a while, so maybe I'll save the skepticism until after the surveys are done. I'll have to find some of @Sawmaster's old posts in the EF thread, and repost them there, because he made some really strong points about how a lot of older houses are actually quite a bit sturdier than most newer houses.
