Yeah, going by the dewpoint depressions, those storms are going to struggle to produce tornadoes unless those depressions can be somehow quickly reduced. That's one possible failure mode for today right there.

LCL numbers are also way too high around central IL to the Chicagoland area to produce tornadoes.

We're all gonna say that the ingredients aren't there for tornadic activity and then we're gonna have an EF3 tornado go through Chicago tonight.

Tornado warning including Wisconsin Dells now, too. Thankfully it shouldn't be too busy there yet. Tourist season starts after Memorial Day for the most part. Though the warning calls out an event called "Automotion."

Got some possible development out to the west of Peoria. GOES shows a line of clouds firing off to the west with showers starting to pop up.
