Severe Threat May 15-16, 2025

Do you think you could get some pics and share them here when it gets to your area?

Been planning to chase, just think they need a little time to mature. Another problem is the way these storms are moving, it'll be pretty much impossible to intercept the inflow/updraft region without getting deluged by the core first. I do need to get moving soon to get out of Madison before rush hour, because traffic is always a big headache.

Well, please take care out there!

Old school forecasting right here. Coloring the maps on paper:

Personally, I'd honestly love to do that more often, but I've never had the time available to do any of that for the past few years or so--I used to do that from time to time, but eventually got too busy to take the necessary time to do that.

Y'all bot and the constant Weather Wise ads are making Ryan Hall pretty unwatchable for me. 5 separate tornado warnings and he's totally distracted and unserious.
Their app is actually really nice and you get a load of features for free (warning/watch tones, adjusting warning/watch borders + more). It's my alternative right now for RadarScope. I do not like the "Y'all bot" feature though. I think that's a clownish feature. Also, warnings come in faster than IEMBot monitor. I promise I'm not sponsored by them.
