What do you think of the HRRR continuing to produce rotating cells further and further south today with each run? I just pulled this sounding from the NAM over the Memphis area. It's the first sounding I pulled, and not cherry picked.

Just isn't going to happen. SPC Mets have gone on the record saying that high risks are now reserved for events where they expect violent tornadoes. It will require a change in logic for us to ever get a high risk that isn't tornado driven again.
on one hand, I hate constant Twitter posts clogging up these threads. On the other, I'm thankful I don't have to go to that dreadful site and can see the best weather posts from notable wx people summarized here. So I have mixed feelings about it lol.
Agreed on this. I don't really like hyping things, because all it does is either make people say is "it's a bu$t! No tornadoes!" or "Severe tornadoes are coming! Be ready!"
