The NE Bham twister touched down not far from here. I can confirm that the very heavy rain HAS NOT eliminated the severe threat for Bham.

This tornado just will not stop. I'm almost questioning if it's actually one tornado or a family at this point. Is there any chance it might have lifted briefly in some of the rural spots in its path?

To put this is in perspective, he is looking due north along US Hwy 72 right along the Huntsville/Madison border.

Low level clouds are racing outside. Feels very eerie, has warmed up a good bit.

Cell South of Boligee (in W. Ala) may be entering into some unstable air. Just a few hints of weak & unorganized rotation at the moment.
