Chicken houses?
It was around Easter last year. Nothing materialized in Central AL despite the models although it did do some damage in MS.
Other than 140 tornadoes and 32 fatalities, sure.

This did not age well.I haven't seen much damage other than some chicken houses and some trees and what has touched down has only touched down briefly.
In Central AL? My point was the threat didn't materialize in Central AL but it did in MS. Was I unclear?Other than 140 tornadoes and 32 fatalities, sure.
Unclear? No. Wrong...yes.In Central AL? My point was the threat didn't materialize in Central AL but it did in MS. Was I unclear?
I do not think there is one person here who wishes or wants any severe weather outbreak to occur. But the fact is they do. Currently, right at this moment, there are 8 Tornado Warnings between Alabama and Mississippi. I would probably be correct in saying that 99% of those people here would rather we not have to cover this type of weather. But there are tornadoes and people like us or others here like to be informed about them, talk about their setup, and help others receive information that could save their lives or the lives of others. It really is giving to the public at large. So it would be appreciative if you would keep comments like this to yourself as they have no bearing on what is going on, how the weather impacts others or pertains to helping anyone. I appreciate you understanding this and really hope that you find what you are looking for here. Now back to the weather.Yeah, just wishful thinking that the rest of this is going to pan out. The people who still thinks there is hope that this is going to happen are just in denial.

The latest Meso discussion states the chances for strong tornadoes will continue to increase (I'm paraphrasing, please no attacks, lol). So, my question is.....
Do I need to be worried? The folks around here in Dunlap, TN are still pretty worried. Any good news I can share with them?
Honestly at this point I wouldn't even bother replying, he's got to be trolling. Not unclear. Delusional or trolling, yes.
There were easily 20+ tornadoes in Central AL that day. Just stop.
Lol, yeah I read that. Was hoping someone who knows a helluva lot more than I do could offer any outlook for the area around Chattanooga. Last I heard, it's supposed to get rough around 2 am. With the rain and all, did that change things? Did the wedge hold? Trying to learn so I don't have to askHere's the specific language from the SPC:
SUMMARY...The risk for tornadoes, a couple of which could become
strong and particularly damaging, is expected to continue to
increase through mid to late evening as an organizing squall line
overspreads the region. This may also be accompanied by more
general strong to severe surface gusts. A new tornado watch will be
needed by 7 PM CDT.
