Severe WX Severe Threat 17-18 March 2021

The Tuscaloosa storm seems to be the first long track tornado
The storm that began west of Selma is still going with confirmed tornado all along the way and is now in Talladega County, About 100 miles thus far. Has kind of been forgotten because going through mainly forests. If it holds and on its current path will affect the Oxford/Anniston area soon.

It WILL NOT stop pouring here, seriously it's been raining so hard for the last half hour I haven't had internet access. Yard is flooded. Temperature has hung at 66 for hours now and there's disorganized heavy rain all the way to the MS border. Storm mode isn't preventing widespread tornado activity as we're seeing but warm sector is filled with junk in AL. Hopefully that will lead to some shorter tracks and quicker cycling.

I think that we're lucky this is March and not April. At least where I'm at, there seems to have been a pretty rapid weakening of that tornado due to very cool air from previous rain.

I know this isn't over by a long shot, but the earlier storms seemed to have calmed what could have been a horrible situation.

I have a feeling the Laurel, Selma, and Tuscaloosa storms have all been significant and strong. Those have been the big main 3 so far, but there’s way more to come

Brookwood storm has really ramped back up.

Cell north of Brookwood is strengthening again
