Severe WX Severe Threat 17-18 March 2021

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
SOUTHWESTERN ROGERS COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA...
NORTH CENTRAL WAGONER COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA...

* UNTIL 245 PM CDT.

* AT 216 PM CDT, A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO
WAS LOCATED 6 MILES SOUTHEAST OF CATOOSA, MOVING NORTH AT 35 MPH.

The storm moving into Coosa that Brett Adair was on looks to be gaining strength again. Looks to be on track toward Stewartville/Sylacauga, AL.

Confirmed tornado SW of Tuscaloosa, but the city itself is on the northern/northeastern fringe of the warning. Southern and eastern sections of the city should be very mindful.

TORR for Tuscaloosa County.

Jefferson/Walker county storm really wrapping up... and nothing to impede inflow. CAPE is on the low side, but with that VWP there is still a very real tornado threat.
