Greetings all!
It's that time of year again when NWS offices around the country start preparing for the upcoming spring severe weather season. With that comes Skywarn Storm Spotter classes that are always informative and fun to attend. You can find your local in person or online training events at https://www.skywarn.org/local-classes/.
For those in the Huntsville, AL area, we are planning an informal meet and greet at the NWS Huntsville Spotter Training event at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center on March 14, 2019 at 6:00 pm. If you have attended this training before, please note that the location is now the National Geographic Theater located in the Davidson Center for Space Exploration. That means we have been upgraded to the large 350 seat auditorium with the huge screen I've always wanted to watch Twister on.
Our TalkWeather meet and greet event will take place between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. We will have dedicated table space for the FREE Biergarten event that takes place in the museum area. German food and a cash bar will available as well. So come out and join us some fun and fellowship along with a spotter refresher.

When: Thursday, March 14, 2019. TalkWeather Meet & Greet begins is 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. NWS HUN Spotter Training begins at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Cost: No charge to attend spotter training or TalkWeather Meet & Greet event. German food and drinks will be available for purchase.
