Had the right call been made there the Rams have 1st and goal inside the 2 with Todd Gurley and CJ Anderson as options at the goal line. Convert that and the score is 24-20 Rams.
That means had the right call been made that went against the Saints, they have 1st and goal at the 6 but need a TD not a FG. Maybe they don't convert, or maybe they score a TD on the next play which puts them up 3 and still plenty of time for the Rams to get a game tying FG to force OT.
Maybe the Rams play defense a little differently on the last drive up 4 instead of 3. So many variables. The better team won the game.
