Saints Nation acts like that was the only blown key call in the game and conveniently forget the missed facemask when Goff was scrambling the series before where the Rams settled for a FG. Had the right call been made there the Rams have 1st and goal inside the 2 with Todd Gurley and CJ Anderson as options at the goal line. Convert that and the score is 24-20 Rams.

That means had the right call been made that went against the Saints, they have 1st and goal at the 6 but need a TD not a FG. Maybe they don't convert, or maybe they score a TD on the next play which puts them up 3 and still plenty of time for the Rams to get a game tying FG to force OT.

Maybe the Rams play defense a little differently on the last drive up 4 instead of 3. So many variables. The better team won the game.
You made my point in your first sentence. Too much conjecture after, so that's where you lost me.

Unfortunately I'll be working during the Super Bowl, but I hope to catch some of the half time show & also hope Maroon 5 plays Sweet Victory as a tribute to Stephen Hillenburg for giving us SpongeBob.

Debatable.
nah. both road teams won. extremely hard to do.

Not a fan of the NFL putting a veteran referee in the replay booth today to radio down to have officials throw flags on an obvious blown call. Of course, they're not admitting that is actually what is happening.

Make the 2 Super Bowls in a row where the rules have suddenly changed.

This may be one of the worst Super Bowls I've ever seen.

Controversy surrounding the teams that got in, absolute snoozer of a game, bad halftime show, and the team nobody wanted to win pulling away late.

Disappointing end to what was a great season up until the conference championships.

You offense junkies can go watch something else tonight it’s the greatest super bowl to see a team win that way it was dominance ball possession and defense are awesome

I’ll go to my grave firmly believing the Rams were helped in so the NFL could try and engage the second largest market in the country.

This tin foil hat fits nicely by the way.

I agree w you skelly. Not sure I would call it the greatest SB, but it was a nice respite from offenses running up and down the field unabated.

I enjoy a good defensive slugfest but this felt like the Alabama-LSU national title game. The score was relatively close but it feels like the Patriots just curb stomped the Rams all game long from the opening kickoff to the final knee.

Lowest watched Super Bowl in over a decade. Most notable, New Orleans had the smallest viewership of a major city. In fact, it was least watched Super Bowl in the city’s history.
