Molly Hatchet lead guitarist Dave Hlubek dead at the age of 66.

Will always one be one of my favorites

The guitar work here is phenomenal!

I was never a huge Thin Lizzy fan, but I love this song. This song is co-written by guitarist John Sykes, and this may have been the only album he played on. Sykes later on went to play in Whitesnake(that's him on Still of the Night) and Blue Murder.

RIP to the great Pat Dinizio. I was huge into the Smithereens in the 90's. They were an awesome melodic rock/power pop band. Pat, the singer, passed away this morning.

This is my favorite Smithereens song

Listening to the most nostalgic music I can remember tonight, growing up in the 90s these songs are the ones that speak most to my soul
The Warmth & Drive by Incubus
Glycerine & Comedown by Bush
Dare you to Move & Learning to Breathe by Switchfoot
Black Balloon by Goo Goo Dolls
Spies by Coldplay
Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits

Of course I listened to tons of Queen, Bob Dylan, CCR, etc... and it's wonderful music. But not my generation ;)

I have 20,298 songs or 98.3gB on my local hard drive, mostly from the early 2000s when people downloaded music instead of streaming.
I've organized most of it into folders, but a lot remains unsorted. Here's the folders of bands I have organized over the past couple decades:

Watching L.A. Guns perform live as I post this comment. Phil still sounds pretty good!
