I think the past few hours explains why Melissa is about to be remembered for the WRONG reasons.

I can't state it enough. If you even risk staying in Kingston, you may not be here soon, this system has serious potential of being very deadly and it already has been if that doesn't say enough. We are watching a very bad scenario unfold in front of us right now. Recon is going in again, so let's see if this thing continues to flick its way to C5 intensity

I don’t think that holds a stick compared to recon actually measuring the true intensity of Melissa right now, but yea, the environment really has worked terrible wonders down there.
