Severe WX March 30th- April 1st 2023 (South, Southeast, Ohio Valley, Upper Midwest)

Well dang, now I feel like I let the group down by not chasing in Maryland today. It's well to the north of us, just very windy here.

I don't even want to give this more views, but I watched it anyway. Wish she would have listened to whoever said not to be by the window. Wow. So glad they survived.

Quite truly one of the most blatantly unadvisable things that you should never do in this situation.

I just drove through where that tornado touched down. Quite a bit of damage right at a major highway. Overnight tornadoes are never good but had it been at a busier time of day there would have been quite a few more injuries.

I did not want to turn down Lincoln Road to see the EF3 damage because there was a lot of traffic coming from that direction and I know they're still trying to clean up.
 
I actually watched the Ellendale storm forming without realizing it. We saw a thunderstorm growing off in the distance while we were down at the Potomac waterfront in Alexandria a couple of hours ago and now that I'm watching the radar loop back it was that one.
