I was getting very late, so it's about time for Mississippi to be under the gun. For some reason they love to come through there really late at night.STP values of 4-5 across parts of TN, MS and AR per mesoanalysis... as discrete cell coverage begins to increase now. This could end up being the main event happening now in the southern risk areas. Intense tornadoes possible with any storms that mature and develop persistent mesocyclones (which is a relatively big if but far from impossible).
The SPC absolutely made the right call to extend the MDT into central Indiana. Sullivan tornado is still on the ground.
If that comes into Owensboro that’s a pretty decent sized regional city in KYLikely tornado NW of Dixon, KY. Looks pretty rural at the moment, hopefully stays that way.
