Wow. Covington is in big trouble. That's a pretty sizable town (about 9,000 people).

This was not a twin meso or satellite tornado situation... this was a classic tornado cycle, and now we have a violent tornado on the ground. The storm will only do this again.

I think people were probably thrown off because of the proximity to the radar. Lowest tilt was like < 500 ft AGL at that point.

Yeah, have at least EF3 damage there and tons of injuries at 2ish

Was tracked live in some pretty emotional coverage by a local station there, quite a way to start the day
