spc nailed the forecast yesterday. borderline perfect, and models, oddly enough, were pretty on point.

im interested to see how many twin tornadoes are verified, in addition to the one in iowa. there were some interesting mesocyclones yesterday and very visible tornadoes across the whole region.

Haven't heard anything from the tiny towns of Riverton or Merom Station, IN which were in the path of the Robinson-Sullivan tornado. Hopefully they were spared.

Thanks. Finally got one worthy of replacing that sunset-lit mammatus, which ironically was taken from a chase in the same general area in June, 2015. Followed some severe storms from around New Sharon to the Oskaloosa/Eddyville/Ottumwa area. They kept growing upscale and the tornado potential was never really realized that day, so that mammatus on the back side on the drive home was the highlight.
