Severe WX March 30-31, 2020 Severe Threat

Likely a significant tornado in progress SW of Eufaula now.

Still no CC sig on that as far as I can tell but that couplet screams significant tornado down

RAP is showing 450-500 m2s2 0-1km SRH with the section of the line that storm is embedded within, so yeah, that'll definitely do it

Still on the ground northwest of Cuthbert. Thankfully that's one of the least populated parts of the state.

Amazing view of a tornadic waterspout from a boat on Mobile Bay.

What is the best radar site for tracking the activity in W. Georgia right now? KMXX, KEOX, or KJGX? I'm getting a lot of RF feedback from KMXX.

Here comes the outbreak. Certainly wasn’t expecting this level of activity. But with every trough passage we have had, there has been some severe wx to a degree. Will be interesting as we get into April.

RAP shows a pretty impressive environment across SW GA, though low level shear is only now starting to increase... that said any localized backing might make that cluster rather menacing

And just like that, the frontal activity ran out of steam. At 2:45 CDT no SVR or TOR warnings anywhere.

Edit: And in the 'never fails' department: 60 secs after I say this a SVR is posted by NWS in Charleston, SC.
