Brother is safe, golf ball sized hail at his apartment in Cullman but hasn't been able to venture out yet as it's still pouring

Storms are actually looking a lot nasty than 10-20 minutes ago. Storm west of Arley. Storm west of Blountsville.

Stuff quickly developing in Walker, got to watch one billow upwards overhead in the last light of day, but remains to be seen how high they can grow.

Except for areas close to the Alabama line, middle Tennessee escaped the worst of this system as most of the Nashville CWA has been dropped from the watch.

Out of nowhere the cell South of Oneonta blew up. Likely to be absorbed into the supercells, but impressive organization so quickly.

Storms growing near Winfield, and thunder finally on Walker/Jefferson line. The latter is isolated enough to be interesting if it survives. The shower watched develop is already being absorbed near Hanceville.
