Those storms in Texas are starting to move into an environment with better wind fields. As the evening goes on I think we'll see more tornado warnings issued.

The problem with the DFW area is it is so heavily populated. There are few open spaces there. Wall to wall people. A tornado in the middle of that can be bad news.

The extended forecast of the line seems to show it holding together and extending close to midnight

There hasn’t been any strong rotation in that area for quite a few scans. Are you sure you’re seeing what you think you’re seeing?
