Sad to say this storm will be retired. This could be a case like Michael where it comes in at a 4 but gets a 5 rating. God bless the people of Louisiana

A storm chaser left this webcam in Grand Isle, LA. Things are going downhill fast. I don't expect to see this webcam surviving #ida.
FYI I’m watching live stream of Michael Phelps (not the Olympic swimmer) on the RadarOmega app. They have deployed 3 probes that have cameras as well as data that you can watch live from the probes, well…until they get overtaken by the storm.

Got concentric eyewalls. I think it’s holding steady state til landfall. That’s bad for New Orleans because the secondary eyewall will likely be in the city.
