I wonder if those warm brackish inlets and rivers near the coast could give it a little boost.
I think that's been witnessed before.

Moisture is starting to wrap around the center again as Debby sucks up the moisture from the salt marshes / brackish waters near the coast.
Kind of amazing to me that it managed to maintain the center of circulation so well when it wrapped in that dry air at all levels. 8 hours ago, it looked extratropical - now it's wrapping moisture back around the west side.

Looks like it is trying to get some additional convection going while it's over the ocean, but thankfully it seems to be moving faster towards landfall again.
