Google DeepMind ensembles have backed off the wind speeds a little bit this morning, but the latest NHC advisory suggests he could make a run at hurricane strength.

50MPH as of the Noon CDT update. 30 miles from Port Arthur. Roughly 4 hours from landfall. I don't think we'll see a 'Cane.

Edouard has made landfall. Hopefully parts of Texas get a refreshing rain to break this heat.
