Tanner is one of those anomalies where they seem to be a little tornado alley during outbreaks!

Note huge gap in reports across MS, NW AL, southern TN. Those who said the enhanced risk was placed too far north and west and that the early rain would reduce the threat there were spot on.

That cell looked like it wanted to hook earlier but changed its mind. SVR is loose & sloppy the last few scans. No development of an inflow notch. This cell still bears watching.

The Carsonville cell is now TOR warned.

At 417 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Carsonville, or 10 miles north of Butler, moving
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
