The long track tornado warned storm that hit Mayfield earlier is about to cross into the Eastern Time Zone between Louisville and Elizabethtown with the Large and Extremely Dangerous wording still on the tornado warning.

Well, it's midnight CST, KHPX still isn't updating on GR Level 3 so I'm going to tap out. Fully expect a strong tornado threat to persist into the pre-dawn hours, although not to the level of the monsters over the last several hours and it will become more isolated with time.

Looks like the eastern Memphis rotation weakened as fast as it tightened up. Those QLCS spinups are fascinating to watch from the TDRW sites.

The long-tracker appears to be moving into an increasingly stable airmass. Remains an impressive storm and should still continue to be monitored closely, but I think the possibility it drops another tornado is decreasing. Fingers crossed.
