We're really struggling without Wiley. Two games in a row that points in the paint have killed us. We're really missing his rim protection. We're already teetering on the brink of being out of the conference title race in January, which is frustrating.Auburn goes down again .... to South Carolina....
Georgia State and aTm are the two that really stick out. 13-7 should easily be 15-5. The Northeastern loss is frustrating but not a killer, and UCF is decent at home. The LSU loss angers me simply because I do not like their coach.Interesting how big a jump Bama's offense has made this season in offensive efficiency. Per KenPom's adjust offensive numbers,
I believe last night's game is a good example. Against #22 Mississippi State, Bama went 1-15 from 3 and still scored 83 points.
There's obviously been some frustrating losses, but this team has a pretty high ceiling.
GSU and A&M really hurt, for sure. Erase those two losses and and Bama's resume is quite strong at the moment.Georgia State and aTm are the two that really stick out. 13-7 should easily be 15-5. The problem is this was a game where they should have responded. They were spanked on the road by Mississippi State and came home to play a bad Florida team. They should have won this game by double digits.Well, I’ll reserve my comments until I see how the team responds the next few games, but there’s a difference in losing, and losing with terrible effort.
And that’s two straight games that the team looked like it was a burden to them that they even had to show up to play.
