Severe WX April 24 - 26 Gulf Coast Severe Event

These are from Chelsea, AL (off of 280) about 30 minutes ago, I was in Alabaster when the system came in there and the winds were gusting pretty stout there, green twigs everywhere. I got ahead of it and took these...

Tomorrow is gonna be one of those "glad I work a block from the Metro station" days. At least it should be coming through during the day this time so I'm not having to try to catch the cat and get to shelter at 10 p.m. again. We're at the fringe of the slight so hopefully nothing too bad. The main threat should be well to our south.

Enhanced risk here for 30% wind. Watch probably coming soon. We’re on the western fringes of the ENH sand the main tornado threat should be east/southeast/northeast of us.

We’re getting a pretty good thunderstorm here in DC. There’s a tornado warning for Montgomery Co., Maryland. Doesn’t include my apartment but it’s obviously a very densely populated area.
