Apparently they went with high-end EF1. Looks a little stronger to me though based on the tree damage.Looks like EF2 damage.

Judging by that signature that was one hell of a spout. Hope no marine traffic got in its pathHave a waterspout
Is there a good collection of damage photos anywhere? I have mostly seen images of tree damage that didn't look that impressive given the velocity signature.Add another violent tornado to the season.
Swept away except for the tile floor. There was a home near the beginning of the path that was anchor bolted and partially swept away along with extensive tree damage near the site.

JAN has gone liberal again. We're back to pre-2014 ratings it seems. This is good news. Though to be fair, nothing really liberal about that rating. An anchor-bolted home was leveled and partially swept away. Any time that happens, an EF4 rating should always be applied, given contextual support of course.Holy crap. Little blindsided by that, didn't even see damage pics until they put up the EF4 rating. Given radar presentation not extremely surprised but still WOW. Have we gotten to were violent ratings are possible again finally?
Wow, all three of them EF4 tornadoes were beasts.JAN has gone liberal again. We're back to pre-2014 ratings it seems. This is good news. Though to be fair, nothing really liberal about that rating. It sure was one hell of a one and done type of storm. A 1.25 mile wide EF4 tornado on the ground for 54 miles.Yeah tons of precip and upscale growth. Based on past experience, this was probably a one and done type of storm. Hopefully at least.
That is definitely for sure.We have now passed all of last year's violent tornado counts in mid April, and have the most violent tornadoes of any year since 2014. Again, in mid April. And unlike what one could say for some years pre-2000s, each of them absolutely deserved that rating.
