I remember nasty issues with past gravity waves so will be happy if we don't get a GW or wake low event behind this, ha

Despite the crazy radar signature, I'm only hearing reports of tree and power pole damage in S Mississippi.

Also, big time QLCS circulation trying to get going near Troy, AL. Smaller one north of Elba, AL too.

This could actually drop a significant tornado if it tightens up. In any case, this area is getting hit with some serious straight line winds right now.

There were multiple power flashes on the Andalusia WSFA Camera about 15 minutes ago and there was a reported funnel cloud there as well.

This is turning into quite the derecho in SE Alabama.

NWS MOB reporting a confirmed tornado near Tillmans Corner in Mobile County.

That tornado passed extremely close to the KMOB NEXRAD. Wow.

KEOX not updating since 11:12pm. Anyone experiencing the same? That line is extremely impressive. Big portion of my family on one side is from Pike County...Brundidge specifically.

BMX saying 90 mph wind gusts possible with the line of storms in their southeastern counties.
