Severe WX April 11th-13th, 2020 Severe Weather Threat

Alabama Hwy 67 in Morgan County.

I'm sure BMX is quite upset at not issuing more of an advance warning. They are some of the best in the business and it's pretty rare for them to not have excellent lead time on their warnings. I know you know all this, but it's really crappy all the way around as it is so uncharacteristic for BMX to be late on a warning even though they also have a very good FAR.

Yeah to be fair I understand why it wasn't tornado warned too far advance since it ramped up in about four frames, but it could've definitely been severe warned a little earlier. It had that bowing signature with a little notch at the top that we get so many spinups from so technically an earlier TOR could've been justified but QLCS is always difficult call.

Right before touchdown

Considering what this country wastes usually its money on, there are still way too many radar holes in places that have a high risk of tornadoes and other severe weather. Rather frustrating.

Tornado warning on an isolated cell near Ware Shoals, SC. East Coast portion of the outbreak may be starting already,

Really want a radar in Meridian, that'd fix a lot for this region

I can think of about 6-8 spots nationwide that could really use it. North of Monroe, LA (even though they have the University one), Meridian, MS, and Columbia, MO (also have a University radar) are just a few of the spots that deserve one.

That's an interesting warning.

There looked to be strong rotation in the cell that just passed through Marion AL. Was there a Tor warning on that?

Are those supercells firing off west and south west of Montgomery? That might be bad news because that area is pretty much untapped.
