Severe WX April 11th-13th, 2020 Severe Weather Threat

Parameters rapidly drop off behind the line(s) in Georgia so doubt there will be any severe behind it once that mass passes, though there are showers and very gusty winds possibly still to come
Thanks, I was initially concerned about redevelopment in the line as it got near ATL. I'm located in fayette county just south of there, and it looks like the worst is going to pass just south and north of us.

Final line out of Mississippi is passing here. Be warned, it packs a punch - had some very high wind gusts with it and still extremely windy behind it. Power is flickering; I could absolutely still see a few trees coming down with it before it finally dies. Though it looks like its death will be prolonged as it looks a lot healthier now than it did crossing the state line

They have picked up a bit. I thought that the worn out air would weaken them. They're getting close to I-65 now but so far without any warnings.

We are just South of Smith Lake in Cullman county tonight. Everything had died down and we thought it was all over, but in the last 15 minutes the wind has been INSANE and it started raining harder again. We can hear stuff blowing all over outside. The rain is not nearly as hard as it was earlier, but this wind is making us feel like we're going to blow away! I see a small curved line on radar. It looks like nothing compared to what has gone on earlier today, but it's making its presence known for sure. It woke everyone up. I'm not sure what the wind speed is, but it seems like it must be pretty high.

Yep, that last line of showers is bringing a ton of wind. Heard three branches snap at least. It's the windiest it's been all day, and it's not even associated with a severe storm.

Cell at the head of the line NE of Columbus GA bears watching.

It just came on seemingly out of nowhere. Not much thunder or lightning, just hard, hard wind and moderate rain. Of course, everything is flooded from the earlier rain, so I'm glad that this is not dumping a bunch more on top of us too. What a day!

Heh yeah it was pretty surreal, started as a light breeze and a quick spattering of raindrops with no thunder or real heads-up then became a heavy shower for a couple minutes; closed the door and went back to my laptop then the wind started gusting so hard the power flickered and branches started snapping... reminds me of a gravity wave situation. Definitely a fitting end to a volatile day

Very dangerous situation in Thomaston, GA; big time TOG

+73 to -134 mph on that Thomaston storm, that is a very strong tornado.

61 dBZ debris ball.

And now south of Atlanta that segment is ramping up... might see something out of that too

There's an area of lowered CC at the couplet near College Park... hoping not, but might be TOG

Definitely a tornado in the southern ATL metro now.

Might be trying to occlude already but still a TDS, and another one trying to get going near Forest Park. Dangerous night
