Alabama General Election for Senate

No doubt, still way too early to tell.

Although I went into this thinking Moore would win, I hold reservations especially with Shelby county, holding nearly a population of 1m people and a history of supporting Moore's opponents, has yet to report much data. Also Mobile has had minimal reporting as well. We have nearly 40% in. Tight race!

Red counties been 100% for awhile...
Blue counties still reporting.

Well it looks like Turd Sandwich A will beat Turd Sandwich B. It is a damn shame that is what elections come down to these days.

Personally, I don't like the fact a D will be representing the state the next couple of years...but I'm not sure a POS like Moore would have been much better, which is why I didn't bother to vote at all in this one.

He absolutely killed it in Tuscaloosa County which went 58/38 Trump. It was the exact opposite for Moore. That happened across the board with many counties Trump won. Republicans learned the lesson Dems did in 2016.

But Alabama is a garbage state with 90% garbage people, right?

Would Mo Brooks or Luther Strange have beaten Jones? It will be the question that AL GOP ponders for a while.

They certainly didn't have the baggage Moore had...and Moore was too presumptuous on the notion that this is a "red" state so no worries...
