• Looks like our DeLorean hit 88 miles per hour a little too hard! A recent style update went sideways, sending us back to a retro look for a bit. We've parked that faulty future theme for now while we tinker under the hood.

25th Anniversary Palm Sunday Tornado Outbreak

I've always wondered how many of the violent tornadoes during this outbreak might have reached F5 strength.

I think the Midway, IN tornado was probably the strongest of the outbreak, but two others that seem to have produced F5 or borderline F5 damage were the first Manitou Beach, MI tornado and the Pittsfield-Strongsville, OH tornado.

The Sunnyside, IN tornado and the Toledo, OH tornado were probably just below the F5 threshold from what I've seen, similar to the 4/9/2015 Rochelle, IL tornado or the 5/24/2011 Chickasha, OK tornado.

EDIT: Just realized this is the wrong Palm Sunday outbreak. I'm an idiot.
