Not sure if it belongs in here, the random comment thread, or elsewhere, but Bubba Wallace and NASCAR look pretty stupid right about now.

I do not think Bubba does, but NASCAR certainly does.
 
I disagree with both of you. I think Bubba didn’t have much involvement because he wasn’t the one who found it or reported it. NASCAR was forthcoming about what happened, and took it seriously.
I am very pleased that is was just a misunderstanding. I think it was the best possible outcome.

He was on with the evil Don Lemon, whose main desire is to fan the flames.

Bubba's statement today was more realistic.

Though I applaud NASCAR's efforts to attack any potential instances of racial hatred swiftly and forcefully, it certainly seems like all of this could have been avoided with just the slightest bit of detective work and a little common sense.

Agreed his statement today was much better. He would’ve been much better off issuing that yesterday and not going on CNN. I’m sure his PR guy wasn’t too thrilled last night, heh.
 
A little more than 4 years ago, I predicted (and I believe Evan did, as well) that if Trump won the Republican nomination and the Presidency, Republicans would lose control of the House, Senate, and Presidency within 4 years. I'm just renewing this so I can prepare to eat my crow or serve up a big helping of "I told you so", whichever the case may be.

I could see anything happening at this point. I mean, Biden could easily pass away before the election!

I guess hoping for him to throw his hands up between now and the election and say screw it, I'm out, is probably a little far fetched.

Oh well, one can hope.

never mind. He found out about it in March and then tried to get Russia readmitted into the G7.
