Classic HP, grungy supercell, can thank low velocity bulk shear for that.
The high precip is causing successive RFD burst which are pushing too far out ahead of the updraft and interfering with inflow.
Doesn’t help that the updraft is so large with a broad meso, if the thing produces a tornado it’s going to be a wedge, but not a violent one.

Hmm...there's one storm near Tupelo that's certainly trying to get warned. Been watching it on velocity for a little while now

3/15/25 is legitimately one of the very, VERY few "Atmospheric Anti-Climax" setups where the ceiling was literally a super outbreak. 5/20/19 and 3/17/21 are also members of that club.

These things tend to come in threes so hopefully they keep their guard up. Maybe it'll be beach ball sized hail or something next lol.
Does the underperformance of storm systems this year have anything to do with the fact we've been in an ENSO neutral phase since the middle of April?
