Data, a lieutenant commander, a vital crew member and more.

His golden eyes scanned the ship's viewscreen array,
Calculating and analyzing each situation, night and day.
With superhuman strength and lightning-fast reflexes,
Data's abilities surpass even the most advanced human guesses.

A true curiosity, he explored the mysteries of life,
From painting to poetry, he experienced the human strife.
An android, yes, but more than just a machine,
Data's quest for humanity was a journey rarely seen.

Through battles and crises, his loyalty never wavered,
A steadfast ally, his courage never quavered.
A Starfleet officer, but more than that, a friend,
Data's legacy on the Enterprise will never end.

In circuits and wires, a heart did beat,
And in the void of space, a soul did fleet.
Lieutenant Commander Data, forever in our hearts,
A Starfleet officer, an android, a work of art.
