I've heard there may have been as many as 70 TDS last night - I cant confirm myself but a number that high really wouldnt surprise me

Any spin ups from the QLCS during the middle of the night, that could’ve been weak and very brief, also get included in the final tally correct?

Yep. That QLCS in IA/ N IL and IN could have produce 20-50 tornadoes alone judging by just how many spinups there were.

Spending another Saturday morning spent trying to find out how much damage was done back near home in Mississippi. It destroyed one of the buildings where my brother works in Tupelo, went right over my cousin in her storm shelter in East Tupelo. My brother lives in Fulton and had taken my mother from Smithville to his house so she would be safer. After hitting Tupelo, the tornado came right by his house, but luckily he had lifted off the ground when it came through.
